“Having fallen in love with Cumbria during my many visits, I finally made the move up here from Cheshire in 2021. Since then I have never looked back.
Coming from a teaching background in Secondary and Further Education, I enjoy supporting young people in education and training, and my particular passion is inclusivity in education, and the workplace.
Since coming to Cumbria, I have also worked in School Engagement, helping students throughout the county to learn about apprenticeships and training opportunities, and have worked with different Stakeholders to support schools with their Careers Education and Guidance.
When I am not working, I enjoy walking, cooking and renovating my cottage, where I live with Lara, my rescue cat, who is a very bad-tempered Bengal.”
