Measuring Impact of your work with Schools and Colleges

Ideal for: SMEs, larger employers, public sector organisations and businesses with social value or ESG commitments.

Are you investing time in schools and colleges but unsure whether it’s making a real difference to your business?

This practical and interactive workshop will show employers of all sizes how to measure and maximise the impact of their education outreach using the free Careers & Enterprise Company (CEC) Employer Standards framework. The framework helps employers align engagement activities with business priorities such as talent pipeline development, skills recruitment, workforce diversity and social value commitments.

You’ll leave with a simple approach to evaluating your current activity, identifying opportunities for improvement, and creating a progressive outreach programme that delivers benefits for both young people and your organisation. You’ll also discover how joining a countywide network of employer volunteers can help inspire future talent while supporting your recruitment, community and social value goals.

Key takeaways:

  • Measure the impact of your current engagement activities.
  • Use the CEC Employer Standards as a practical roadmap for improvement.
  • Build a more strategic and effective talent pipeline.
  • Strengthen evidence of social value and community impact.
  • Connect with a network of employers committed to supporting young people across the county.
