High quality programmes don’t happen by chance. They are built on robust evidence, purposeful evaluation and confident use of data.
This session explores why evidence based decision making is essential for driving improvement, demonstrating impact and making the case for change.
We will examine how using the right data, in the right way, can move evaluation beyond compliance and towards genuine and meaningful insights. Through practical examples, we will show how evidence can inform strategic decisions, highlight what’s working (and what isn’t), and support continuous improvement across careers programmes.
The session will challenge delegates to reflect on their own use of data and evaluation, building confidence to ask questions, interpret findings meaningfully and use evidence as a powerful tool to influence practice, priorities and outcomes.
By the end of the session, we hope that you will leave with a clearer understanding of how data and evaluation can drive purposeful change, strengthen impact and support high quality careers programmes.
