This event is being delivered by Inspira in partnership with colleagues from Cumbria Careers Hub, DWP, University of Cumbria and BAE. The purpose of the event is to help young people in Year XX find out more about the education, training and employment opportunities in the local area. Secondary and Special Schools from Furness have been invited to attend.
More than 40 employers and skills providers have signed up to the event for this year. Guest speakers will also deliver a variety of workshops to the students throughout the day.

Inspira has been commissioned by both Cumberland Council and Westmorland and Furness Council to provide targeted careers information, advice and guidance, and support with progression planning to priority groups of young people in Cumbria. They also manage the September Guarantee to ensure all young people have a suitable offer of post-16 learning.
